Pro Football Focus grades: Bryce Callahan recieves highest mark from Bears win over Jets

Bryce Callahan is making the most out of a contract year.

The Bears slot cornerback will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and he's playing his way into a payday so far.

His performance against the New York Jets was one of his best of the year, and Pro Football Focus graded him as the Bears' best player in the game.

Callahan was targeted a team-high six times, but he only allowed two catches for 23 yards with three pass breakups according to PFF.

He is the team's highest-graded cornerback on the season, and the seventh-highest in the NFL overall. It's all happening at the perfect time while he's playing on a one-year deal.

He was a restricted free agent last offseason, but this spring he's set to hit the open market.

If he can stay healthy for the first full season of his career, he could be in line for a nice pay bump. The PFF grades suggest he's well worth it.
