Rams coach Sean McVay recites Bears' entire starting defense in detailed scouting report

The Bears are facing one of the NFL’s brightest young coaches on Sunday, a man who is becoming known for his impressive recall ability.

Sean McVay has an almost photographic memory when it comes to football plays and players, and he showed it off this week when he was asked to give his evaluation of the Chicago defense.

Without missing a beat, he rattled off 11 different Bears defensive players, nabbing almost their entire starting lineup out of their nickel package.

The only player he didn’t mention was nose tackle Eddie Goldman, instead mentioning Aaron Lynch as an important part of the outside linebacker rotation.

It’s clear McVay is well prepared for taking on this Bears defense, a group that will have its work cut out for them against one of the NFL’s top offenses.

At the very least, Sunday will feature a fun matchup between two well-coached teams.
