Everson Griffen is back in the NFC North. According to Adam Schefter, the Cowboys have traded Griffen to the Lions in exchange for a conditional sixth-round draft pick.
Over his 10+ year career, Griffen has 77 sacks, nine forced fumbles and six fumble recoveries. This season he has 2.5 sacks. Before this year, Griffen played his entire career in Minnesota.
The Lions hope Griffen can help their pass rush which ranks fifth-worst in the NFL with only eight sacks this season. One of those sacks came when the Lions played the Bears in Week 1.
The Bears play the Lions again in Week 13 on Dec. 6.
