Saints off the board for Bridgewater after team agrees to two-year deal with Drew Brees

A future for Teddy Bridgewater in New Orleans never looked likely, and today, the Saints made it all but official. 

Ever since Drew Brees announced his return on Instagram a few weeks ago, it's been assumed that Bridgewater won’t be returning. Another signing pointing to Bridgewater's exit is that the Saints reportedly view Taysom Hill as a future franchise quarterback, for whatever reason.

Now, the 27-year-old quarterback is on the open market and has already been linked to the Bears. The Tom Brady news throws a bit of a wrench in the Bears’ Bridgewater dreams. But now Cam Newton might be available? And it's only Tuesday…
