Allen Robinson: ‘Harder to watch' Super Bowl every year

Share

Can we get Allen Robinson in the Super Bowl? Robinson has been one of the best wideouts in the league ever since he burst onto the scene with 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2015. But his career has also been marked with inconsistent quarterback play, keeping him from the Big Game. Apparently, that’s starting to bug Robinson.

The closest one of Robinson’s teams has ever gotten to the Super Bowl was the 2017 when the Jaguars lost in the AFC Championship game to Tom Brady and the Patriots. However, that season Allen Robinson tore his ACL, so he didn’t get to play in the playoffs. Over his tenure with the Bears, Robinson is 0-2 in postseason games.

Robinson’s teammate Darnell Mooney only has one pro year under his belt, but that hunger to play in the Super Bowl is growing already as well.

Maybe whoever the Bears land to be their next starting quarterback can take them to the promised land?
