Who is the biggest celebrity Bears fan?

Share

It hasn’t always been easy to be a Bears fan. Since winning Super Bowl XX with one of the most dominant teams in NFL history, the team has gone through nearly three dozen starting quarterbacks in the search of another Lombardi Trophy. With Justin Fields in the fold, that day could come much sooner, and the team’s most famous fans will have a new reason to celebrate.

Here are some of the top celebrities who root for the Bears:

Bill Murray

Murray loves him some Chicago sports and Chicago sports tunes. He has sung “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” at Wrigley Field and the Bears’ fight song from the sidelines. The legendary comedian is a longtime fan of his favorite teams, too, as he was even on the sidelines for Chicago’s 1985 NFC Championship Game win over the New York Giants.

Ashton Kutcher

Kutcher is another comedian on board with the Bears. The “That ‘70s Show” star is a longtime fan, even showing his hype before the season gets started. We can only imagine what his Week 1 video will look like this coming season now that a new QB is in town.

Seth Rollins

WWE Superstar and two-time WWE Champion Seth Rollins grew up in Iowa as a diehard Bears fans. He also correctly predicted the Bears would beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when he served as a celebrity guest picker for NBC Sports Chicago.

And he's already fond of Justin Fields.

Dwyane Wade

D-Wade became a star with the Miami Heat, but his heart is still with Chicago.

Wade was pumped to watch the Bears’ 2020 draft, and the star of the Bears’ 2021 draft is a fan of the future NBA Hall of Famer, as seen in the tweet above.

Wade showed love for his hometown football team by giving Khalil Mack a signed jersey after a Heat-Bulls game in 2018. Wade did play a season in Chicago, but it will be nice for these off-court moments to happen without coming at the Bulls’ expense now that he’s retired.

Tim Duncan

Duncan is a surprising Bears fan from the NBA. He never played for Chicago and his Spurs only crossed paths with the Bulls twice a season, but he takes his fandom seriously. He kept Bears gear in his locker and even held up a Spurs team flight because a 2007 playoff game between the Bears and Seahawks went to overtime.

He even shared an all-too-relatable reaction to the team’s John Fox hire.

Danica Patrick

There are levels to this one.

Racing trailblazer Danica Patrick is a big Bears fan, but then she started dating Aaron Rodgers. You see the issue.

After two years of dating the Green Bay Packers quarterback and guest “Jeopardy!” host, the couple split in July of 2020. Rodgers has since gotten engaged to actress Shailene Woodley while Patrick gets to root for the Bears without complication.
