Remember that commercial depicting the Cubs winning the World Series?

If you're a Cubs fan, how could you forget, right?

Shortly after the commercial aired for PlayStation's MLB 12 The Show, we tracked down the ad agency responsible for the idea and execution.

Now, more details have come out about how the commercial came to be. The article at BusinessInsider.com is complete with more than 30 slides telling the behind-the-scenes story of Deustch, Inc.'s journey to take an idea and create a realistic ad spot of the impossible happening -- the Cubs actually winning it all.

Really interesting stuff. They actually used footage from fans in Chicago during the 2003 NLCS (yes, the Bartman series).

Maybe someday, ad agencies will have actual footage to use of Cubs fans celebrating a real World Series.

As JP from "Angels in the Outfield" says, "hey, it could happen."
