A mighty impressive football pedigree is coming to College Park.
Rayshad Lewis, the son of legendary NFL linebacker Ray Lewis, recently announced he'd be transferring from Utah State, and Monday he tweeted that he'll be continuing his collegiate career at Maryland.

This Lewis is not a linebacker but a wide receiver. He racked up 40 catches for 476 yards last season, making seven starts and appearing in 12 games as a freshman at Utah State.
NCAA transfer rules will force him to sit out the upcoming 2017 campaign, but Lewis will have three seasons of NCAA eligibility remaining for DJ Durkin's program after that.
Maryland fans know the elder Lewis well after he won a pair of Super Bowl titles with the Baltimore Ravens. He spent his entire 17-year NFL career in the Charm City, becoming one of the greatest linebackers in league history.
