May Fools!

May Fools isn't a thing, but Cardale Jones seems to think it is. The Buckeyes quarterback pranked Twitter on Friday by "announcing" that he was transferring to Akron, taking himself out of the hotly contested Ohio State QB competition for all of a few minutes.

There's a bit of tension surrounding the high-profile position battle, and transfer rumors have swirled around one of the competitors, Braxton Miller. Jones took full advantage and gave everyone a nice scare Friday.

Jones, Miller and J.T. Barrett are all expected to be a part of the competition this summer. Jones is the only one, though, who can say he's led the Buckeyes to a national championship.
