Jourdan Lewis, college football's best corner, tweets he's staying four years at Michigan

Current college football players don't have to make their decisions about the NFL Draft for a while still, but the guy who might be college football's best cornerback appears to have made that decision already.

Michigan junior Jourdan Lewis, who's having an All-Big Ten and All-America kind of season that's getting him noticed by all those NFL Draft people, tweeted Thursday that he's planning on sticking around Ann Arbor for his full four years of eligibility.

It's a big deal when you consider that if Lewis did enter the draft after three seasons, he might be the first cornerback off the board.

Lewis leads the nation with 12 passes defensed, four more than the country's No. 2 defensive back in that category. He also has allowed just 18 receptions all season and has a pair of interceptions, one taken back for a touchdown in Michigan's win over Northwestern.

And now it seems Jim Harbaugh & Co. can look forward to having Lewis shutting down opposing passing games for another season and a half.
