Last year, the son of actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus made headlines by joining the Northwestern basketball team as a walk-on.
Well, Charlie Hall is no longer the only walk-on Wildcat with a famous family.
Tino Malnati, the grandson of Chicago pizza icon Lou Malnati, will join Chris Collins' program as a walk-on this fall, per a report from the Tribune's Teddy Greenstein.
Tino played point guard at New Trier High School in Winnetka, where his father was the head coach for a decade.
That's a lot of star power coming from the walk-on contingent at Northwestern. Tino's pizza legacy teams with Hall's comedic clan. Hall is the son of Louis-Dreyfus, who starred on "Saturday Night Live" and "Seinfeld" prior to her current starring role on "Veep," and fellow "SNL" alum Brad Hall.
But can either claim the Internet fame of the Cats' other new walk-on for 2016-17?
Samm Jones, a guard from Minnesota, announced he'd be joining the Cats this fall, as well.
Jones gained some viral fame for this video after his high school team won the state championship earlier this year.
