Northwestern will be one of three major-conference teams to participate in this year's Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament.
The Wildcats will join Texas Tech and Boston College, as well as La Salle, at the annual event in Uncasville, Connecticut.
Northwestern will take on La Salle on Nov. 18. A win would mean a game against the winner of the Texas Tech-Boston College game on Nov. 19. A loss against La Salle, and it's a second game against the loser between the Red Raiders and Eagles.

The Cats will also play a pair of non-conference foes at Allstate Arena in conjunction with the tournament: Saint Peter's (Nov. 13) and Sacred Heart (Nov. 24).
"Our program is thrilled to have the chance to participate in a tournament with as rich of a history as the Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament," Northwestern head basketball coach Chris Collins said in the announcement. "It's always exciting anytime you have the opportunity to play for a championship, and we look forward to challenging ourselves early in the season."
