Friday's loss to Georgetown sent Wisconsin to a 2-2 start. Bronson Koenig wasn't about to let it get to 2-3 on Sunday against VCU.
The Badgers trailed the Rams by a point with half a minute to play, but Koenig came to the rescue, driving the lane, spinning away from his defender and laying it in with his left hand with seven seconds on the clock for the game-winning basket that propelled Wisconsin to a 74-73 win at Madison Square Garden.

Those two points were the last of Koenig's 22. He went 9-for-14 from the field two nights after going 2-for-12 in the loss to Georgetown.

And the big play caught the attention of some of Koenig's ex-teammates, who were pretty pumped about the current Badger's heroics.
