If the Flames are in win-now mode, pursuing Crawford would be a no-brainer. He's the perfect short-term solution on a team that didn't believe in David Rittich enough to start him in the playoffs. Cam Talbot had a .924 save percentage in 10 postseason games and is set to become an unrestricted free agent, leaving a glaring hole between the pipes.

Crawford seems like a perfect fit for the Avalanche, who would immediately become the Stanley Cup favorites if the two sides worked out a deal.

The Oilers had a league-worst .869 save percentage in four postseason games and own the sixth-worst team save percentage (.900) over the last three years. A Crawford and Mikko Koskinen duo in goal would be a significant upgrade over a tandem of Koskinen and Mike Smith, who had a minus-7.67 goals saved above average during the regular season. The challenge here would be making it work financially since Koskinen carries a $4.5 million cap hit.
