The Blackhawks conducted interviews for the full-time general manager position this week with Kyle Davidson and Eric Tulsky, the team announced Friday.

Davidson is currently serving as Chicago's interim GM and has been with the organization since 2010. He began as a hockey operations intern and worked his way up the ladder to assistant GM of hockey administration before his recent promotion to interim GM.

Tulsky is in his eighth season with the Carolina Hurricanes and second as the assistant GM. He previously served as vice president of hockey management and strategy. He's considered to be one of the brightest analytical minds in the sport.

The Blackhawks say they will continue to provide updates as upcoming interviews are completed. Peter Chiarelli and Scott Mellanby are reportedly on their list of potential candidates.

Blackhawks CEO Danny Wirtz and president of business operations Jaime Faulkner are leading the interview process, but Marian Hossa, Eddie Olczyk and Patrick Sharp are part of the advisory group that's assisting in the search as well.
