The Blackhawks have placed Marc-Andre Fleury in COVID-19 protocol, the team announced before practice on Monday.

In a corresponding move, Collin Delia was recalled from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League and will serve as the second goaltender behind Kevin Lankinen.

Additional roster moves: Calvin de Haan was removed from the COVID-19 protocol list while Brett Connolly was assigned to the newly-implemented taxi squad as he serves his four-game suspension.

Fleury, 37, has been one of the league's best goaltenders over the last two months. He's 8-3-1 with a 2.13 goals-against average, .933 save percentage and two shutouts in his last 12 starts.

Delia, 27, has appeared in 10 games with Rockford, where he had a 4-4-2 record with a 2.86 goals-against average and .906 save percentage.

The Blackhawks' contest against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday was postponed for COVID-related reasons. Their next game is scheduled for Wednesday in Winnipeg.
