On Wednesday, the Blackhawks released the numbers the newest additions to the team will be sporting for the 2020-21 season.
The most notable new guys to receive digits include goalie Kevin Lankinen, forwards Lucas Wallmark, Mattias Janmark and Brandon Pirri, and defenseman Nikita Zadorov.
Lankinen, who will compete with Collin Delia and Malcolm Subban to see who starts in net for Chicago, will wear 32.
Wallmark, who signed a one-year contract with the Hawks earlier this month — carrying a $950,000 cap hit — received 71. Janmark, who reached the Stanley Cup Final with the Dallas Stars last season, got 13, the number he wore with Dallas. Pirri will reverse the number he previously wore in his first stint with the Hawks (37) and sport (73).
Zadorov, who came to Chicago via the Brandon Saad trade, will wear 16 — the same number he had with the Colorado Avalanche, previously worn by Blackhawks Stanley Cup champs Andrew Ladd and Marcus Kruger.
