On Friday, the New Jersey Devils announced that former Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford is taking an "indefinite leave of absence from the club due to personal reasons."

Crawford, a two-time Stanley Cup champion with Chicago (2013, 2015), missed the Devils' training camp for a fifth straight day on Friday after signing a two-year contract with the team in the offseason. He did participate in New Jersey's first two days of camp on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.

The 36-year old netminder, whose contract with New Jersey carries a $3.9 million average annual value, is the only goalie to win multiple Stanley Cups with the Blackhawks and owns the third most wins (260) and saves (12,778) in Hawks history.
