ANAHEIM — Robin Lehner will start in goal for the Blackhawks when they collide with the Anaheim Ducks at Honda Center on Sunday in the second of a back-to-back. This will be his seventh start of the season.

Lehner is 2-2-2 this season with a 2.26 goals-against average and .938 save percentage, which ranks third among NHL goaltenders with at least four appearances.

He's coming off a start in which he stopped a season-high 48 of 51 shots for a save percentage of .941 in Tuesday's 3-0 loss to the Nashville Predators. He also stopped all five shots in relief on Saturday against Los Angeles after Corey Crawford left briefly in the first period.

"He's been really good for us," head coach Jeremy Colliton said of Lehner. "He's answered the bell every single time so far, so that's a good confidence boost for the team. Even yesterday when he went in there, he made a big save and we kind of turned the game a bit after that and got back into it."

In five career appearances against the Ducks, Lehner is 1-2-1 with a 2.25 goals-against average, .936 save percentage and one shutout.
