Bulls fans make their plea to LeBron James

One of the great things about social media is the ability to connect people, particularly celebrities and athletes to their adoring fans. In Chicago, the relationship between LeBron James is interesting. The Windy City is the home of Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player of all time, and James is constantly being compared to him and pundits postulate whether or not James has even surpassed him.

But Bulls fans want to win, and some are making impassioned pleas to James now that he is officially headed to the free agent market. Some are even using the MJ-LBJ debate in open letters to LeBron, hoping to sway his decision.

Open letter to LeBron James:

IF you spurned the Lakers, chose the Bulls and were able to win a championship in Chicago, the GOAT discussion is over.

Enough Bulls fans would love you forever and that’s that.

Until then, MJ still the GOAT.

Some fans know it is far-fetched for LeBron to land with the Bulls, but are imploring him to prove the world wrong.

James hasn't been tied to the Bulls, who aren't even contenders in the odds to sign James. According to Brian Windhorst of ESPN, it's down to Los Angeles or Cleveland.
