Bulls to honor Noah on Oct. 28 vs. Thibodeau, Knicks

Get ready for some primal screams. If not from Joakim Noah himself, then certainly at least from the United Center faithful.

The Chicago Bulls announced Friday morning that tickets for all home games are on sale as of 10 a.m. That includes "Joakim Noah Night," presented by NBC Sports Chicago, on Oct. 28 against---you guessed it---Tom Thibodeau and the New York Knicks.

Noah announced his retirement last season and attended one home game but it came before fans were allowed in the building. This season, fans who are either fully vaccinated or show proof of a negative COVID-19 test will be attending games.

Noah, of course, reached his most prominent playing career heights under Thibodeau, earning two All-Star Game berths, an All-NBA designation and winning Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2014 when he finished fourth in most valuable player voting. Always passionate and prideful, Noah resonated deeply among a fan base that surely is itching to show him some love. And close friends Derrick Rose and Taj Gibson will be on the opposing bench.

Beyond Noah, the Bulls also plan to honor Toni Kukoc's recent induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame at an Oct. 30 game against the Utah Jazz. And there also will be a Noah bobblehead giveaway, again against the Knicks, courtesy of NBC Sports Chicago on Nov. 21.

Tickets for all games can be purchased via Bulls.com and NBATickets.com or by calling 312-455-4000. The Bulls' complete schedule can be found here.
