Bulls recall Denzel Valentine and Daniel Gafford from G League

The Bulls recalled Denzel Valentine and Daniel Gafford from the G League on Saturday, two days after assigning the duo there.

Valentine was expected to stay with the Windy City Bulls through Saturday's game against the Wisconsin Herd. However, Otto Porter Jr. is out indefinitely with a left foot sprain, and Valentine dropped 25 points on 10-of-21 shooting (4-of-9 from deep) on Friday (also against the Herd).

Valentine has been stuck behind Shaq Harrison and Ryan Arcidiacono in the Bulls' rotation this season. He hasn't played since Oct. 26 against the Raptors, when he logged five minutes. After his hot shooting night Friday, perhaps the Bulls give him some run on Saturday against a Rockets team that takes a ton of 3-pointers each game.

Gafford (20 points in 25 minutes) also showed out with Windy City Friday, but he, too, has played sparingly with the Bulls this season. The 21-year-old has played six minutes across two games this season -- Oct. 26 against the Raptors and Wednesday against the Hawks.
