The Robin Lopez Era is coming to an end, apparently.
Lost in the flurry of trade deadline deals being made, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the Bulls and Lopez are working out a contract buyout:
That contradicts with what President of Basketball Operations John Paxson said about Lopez in his press conference this afternoon:
The center is in the final season of his 4-year, $54 million contract.
Lopez, 30, has seen his production falter this season, averaging 17 points and eight rebounds per 100 possesions this season. Both are well below his career norms.
