The Bulls' matchup with the Grizzlies in Memphis on Wednesday, Jan. 27 has been postponed in accordance with the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols, the league announced Sunday.

That marks the Grizzlies' fifth consecutive postponement as they undergo contact tracing after one positive test, which was reported by Evan Barnes of The Commercial Appeal on Jan. 21:

Memphis also had a game against the Timberwolves postponed on Jan. 15, though that was due to availability concerns on Minnesota's side.

Meanwhile, it's the Bulls' second postponement of the young season, along with a Jan. 12 game in Chicago against the Boston Celtics. That matchup was postponed because the Celtics could not field the NBA-required eight players to compete.

This Monday's Bulls game -- also against the Celtics in Chicago -- remains on schedule. After that, the team next plays Saturday, Jan. 30 at home against the Portland Trail Blazers.
