Anthony Davis is currently the best Chicago native in the NBA. He also might be heading to free agency this offseason.
However, if there’s any hope at all for the Bulls to sign him, the local football team won’t be a draw for Davis. The Los Angeles Lakers forward was repping hard for the rival Green Bay Packers at yesterday’s Packers-Seattle Seahawks playoff game.
Davis wore an Aaron Rodgers jersey and a Packers beanie. It was all over social media.
Davis has missed the last two Lakers games due to injury so he had some extra time to take the flight to Wisconsin.
Chicagoans would surely welcome him back with open arms if he surprised everyone and signed with the Bulls. The Bears fans among them just might have a minor complaint about Davis’ choice of football teams.
