DETROIT — Already without Blake Griffin, the Pistons will face the Bulls Saturday night without Derrick Rose.

The former Bull, who is averaging 16.5 points and 6 assists in just 24.3 minutes, said pregame that he isn't playing the second game of a back-to-back set. The Pistons lost Friday night in Boston. Officially, he's listed as out with left knee soreness.

Rose has averaged 19.8 points and 5.8 assists on 52.9 percent shooting in six career meetings against the Bulls, who have won the first two meetings this season.

Rose is shooting 48.3 percent from the field and spoke again Saturday night about how much he's at peace with his game and career.

"I'm feeling good," Rose said. "Just being careful."

Rose has played in 24 of the Pistons' 30 games.
