As expected, oddsmakers have Bulls as tremendous underdogs to win the Central Division

The Bulls aren't going to win the NBA's Central Division. But if you really believe Lauri Markkanen and Zach LaVine are going to make a quantam leap to stardom in 2019 - or you just have enough expendable income to make bad bets - you could potentially profit off it.

Bovada released its annual Division Title odds on Tuesday and the Bulls are 35:1 to win the Central. The odds are wholly expected, both because the Bulls won 28 games last season and are in a division that touts two playoff teams in Milwaukee and Indiana that will play well above .500 and flirt with home court advantage in the postseason. Even the Pistons and Cavaliers have an outside shot at the playoffs, making this quietly one of the more balanced divisions in the

Milwaukee Bucks                       6/5
Indiana Pacers                          7/5
Detroit Pistons                          5/1
Chicago Bulls                            35/1
Cleveland Cavaliers                   35/1

The Bulls haven't won the Central Division since 2012, when they won 50 games in a lockout-shortened season. Derrick Rose had two healthy ACLs, Markkanen was 15 years old and Tom Thibodeu and Gar Forman were still (kind of) getting along.

You're probably better off putting your money on the Bulls to hit their projected over-under win total than you are them winning a division that includes Giannis Antetokokunmpo and Victor Oladipo.
