Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant is an active player who is already in his own right, one of the greatest players to ever play the game of basketball. So, of course, he is enjoying "The Last Dance" just like the rest of the world.

But during a recent interview with ESPN analyst and former Bulls guard Jay Williams, Durant discussed what his favorite Michael Jordan moment of all-time is and it may shock you.

I would say when he came to play for the Wizards...

KD stated that his favorite MJ moment was when he returned to the NBA in 2001 to play for the Washington Wizards. Jordan's second comeback is looked at a disappointment by many, with his great play not enough to lead two mediocre Wizards teams to the postseason. But Jordan's time in D.C. obviously has a special place in the hearts of sports fans who grew up in the area, as Durant did.

Durant was born in Washington D.C. and grew up in Prince George's County, Md. As a huge fan of the game, having Jordan nearby was a dream come true for a young Durant who said, "I can catch a train and down there [Capital One Arena] and go catch a game and see the greatest player play."

Durant likely caught a great performance to boot, as Jordan averaged 21.2 points per game over his two seasons in Washington, including an impressive eight 40-point games in his age-38 and 39 seasons.
