A report from CNN revealed that the devastation of Hurricane Dorian has left about 17% of Bahamians homeless and while the exact death toll is still unknown, there have been at least 43 deaths and there are hundreds of people still reported missing.
In his statement, Jordan declared "my heart goes out to everyone who is suffering and to those who have lost loved ones."
Jordan refers to the Bahamian people as "strong and resilient" and states that he will be looking for non-profit organizations that will truly make the most of his donation.
