NBA reportedly updates league policies for indefinite hiatus

Sunday evening, the NBA reportedly announced updates to temporary policies for the league's hiatus.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the NBA has informed teams that, effective March 16, players will be permitted to travel outside of their team's respective home cities:

Of course, there are conditions to that travel, which Charania enumerated:

And per Tim Bontemps of ESPN, the NBA will also allow players to work individually at team facilities during the hiatus, though the ban on team practices has been extended indefinitely:

Bontemps added in a later tweet the NBA is recommending teams check player's temperatures as they enter team facilities.

As of this writing, the latest official update from the league pegged the hiatus at "at least" 30 days (a timeline that would end in early-to-mid April). But a recent recommendation from the CDC and reporting from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski indicate play is more likely to resume in mid-June at the earliest. That timeline would extend the season schedule late into the summer.
