The NBA Summer League is returning to Las Vegas this August, and now we know more about the structure and times of the games.

NBA Summer League 2021 will take place between Aug. 8 and 17 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. All 30 teams will play five games each during the competition. The winner will be determined in a final on Aug. 17 between the two teams who have the best records after four games.

The Summer League will be the first opportunity for teams to experiment with their lineups and try out young players leading up to the 2021-22 regular season. Fans will be allowed at all 75 games, and tickets will go on sale beginning on June 23.

The Summer League was first held in Las Vegas in 2004. Last summer it was canceled during the COVID-19 pandemic as the league finally restarted the 2019-20 regular season in the Orlando bubble in July. At NBA Summer League 2019, the Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves in the championship game.

Bulls second-year forward Patrick Williams has already said he will be in attendance. If the Bulls retain their first-round pick this year, and/or use their second-round selection, there may be a number of important faces there for fans to monitor.
