Nothing's changed: Jimmy Butler reportedly still wants out of Minnesota

Share

Jimmy Butler is back in Minnesota and apparently still does not want to play for the Timberwolves.

Butler didn't report to the Timberwolves' Media Day last month, hasn't participated in any portion of training camp and obviously has not played in any preseason contests.

He's been linked to a handful of teams, and the Miami Heat were reportedly interested in acquiring the four-time All-Star before those talks broke down.

There isn't much time left for the Timberwolves to trade Butler before the season begins. Minnesota opens its season in eight days against the San Antonio Spurs.

How will it all end? It's safe to say Butler has played his last game with the Timberwolves, but until Tom Thibodeau brings the price down the situation could get real ugly, real fast. If it isn't already.
