While the Bulls have many options with the fourth pick in the upcoming NBA draft, at least one prospect would most likely be thrilled to come to Chicago.
In an interview posted a year ago, Maccabi Tel Aviv star Deni Avdija told the world his favorite all-time team was none other than the Chicago Bulls.
The question now is, will the new-look Bulls front office of Artūras Karnišovas and Marc Eversley return the love?
In our latest NBA Mock Draft, Rob Schaefer believes the Bulls will draft Avdija, citing his “unicorn-like playmaking.” If Avdija ends up being anywhere near the player Kristaps Porzingis has become, then taking him at No. 4 would be an absolute steal for the Bulls.
Here’s more of what Schaefer has to say on Avdija:
“If his 3-point shot and handle continue to come around — and he matures out of some decision-making gaffes — it will only add to his versatile all-around game, which features a graceful gait in transition, pinpoint passing in the pick-and-roll and post, and developing instincts as a team defender. He impacts the game in multiple facets, and is ever-improving.”
Unfortunately, Bulls fans will reportedly have to wait even longer to see who the team drafts, as Adrian Wojnarowski reports the NBA and NBAPA have pushed back their deadline to modify the CBA for the 2020-21 season again.
