Those dreaming of a Bulls reunion for the widely-beloved Joakim Noah were dealt a bit of bad news Tuesday evening, when the Chicago Tribune's Bob Goldsborough reported that Noah listed his five-bedroom, Bannockburn, Ill. home for $1.44 million back in September.
Purchased for $1.5 million in 2008 — one year after Noah was drafted — the house contains a litany of amenities, including a two-story marble fireplace, stainless steel appliances, heated three-car garage, wine closet, full bar, gym, outdoor basketball court and more, according to Goldsborough's report.
Bannockburn is a suburb just northwest of Deerfield, where the practiced at the Berto Center from 1992 through the 2013-14 season, Noah's seventh in the NBA.

Could Jo be parting with the place in advance of a downtown purchase closer to the Advocate Center, the Bulls' new home for practices? His former coach Billy Donovan, after all, recently grabbed the reins to the Bulls' rebuild.
Not necessarily. Noah is currently employed by the Los Angeles Clippers, who signed him off a 10-day contract before the start of the 2019-20 season restart. The Clips have the option to exercise a non-guaranteed 2021 option in Noah's contract, which could keep him in LA through next season.
If he ever decides to come back to Chicago, he'll surely be welcomed with open arms.
