White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson was patiently biding his time during MLB's ongoing lockout when he saw a team across town in need.
The Chicago Bulls, as of this writing, have only eight players available for Tuesday's game against the Detroit Pistons. Ten players are in health and safety protocols. Patrick Williams is rehabbing a severe wrist injury.

Anderson has grown into an All-Star caliber baseball player during his White Sox tenure, but he was also quite the basketball player in his heyday. In his high school years, Anderson starred for Hillcrest in Tuscaloosa, which brought home the Alabama 6A State title in 2011.
Could those talents be of us to the shorthanded Bulls? Certainly not. But a bit of humor is always welcome in situations such as the one the Bulls are currently enduring.
And a fanbase can dream.
