Tomas Satoransky just misses triple-double in Czech's loss to Australia

Tomas Satoransky put together yet another impressive performance for the Czech Republic, finishing with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 13 assists in their 82-70 loss to Australia in the quarterfinals of the FIBA World Cup.

The loss knocks the Czechs out of medal contention - they'll now enter the loser's bracket - but not because of anything Satoransky did in the tournament. The new Bulls point guard averaged 14.8 points on 44.1% shooting, 6.5 rebounds and 8.3 assists in six games. He shot 8 of 18 (44.4%) from beyond the arc and made 21 of 24 free throws during the competition.

Satoransky is expected to start at point guard this season for the Bulls, who gave the 27-year-old a three-year, $30 million deal after a sign-and-trade with the Washington Wizards this summer.
