Wendell Carter Jr. describes Chicago as a ‘clean New York City'

Wendell Carter Jr. is already making friends with his new fanbase in Chicago.

The newly-drafted Carter Jr. talked to reporters at the draft in New York City and was asked about what he knows about Chicago.

"I've heard from a lot of people it's just a clean New York City," Carter Jr. said. "I think that’s a good thing."

That's a great one-liner that should help him become popular with Bulls fans and Chicagoans in general. Knicks fans, meanwhile, might remind him of this in the future if word gets around.

Perhaps fearing his comments will earn him some enemies in New York on top of his new fans in Chicago, Carter Jr. said that both New York and Chicago are "great markets."

Next up, he will have to give his opinion on New York vs. Chicago pizza.
