The Canadiens have hired former NHL left winger Ethan Moreau as a professional scout.
Moreau was the 14th overall pick by the Blackhawks in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. He's last played with the Manchester Monarchs of the AHL since signing with the Los Angeles Kings before the start of the 2011-12 season.
Throughout his NHL career, Moreau played in 928 regular season games with Chicago, Edmonton, Columbus, and Los Angeles.
