Barkley to Bears: Stop the madness

Tim Tebow this, Tim Tebow that, that's all we've been hearing about and all we will hear about as the Bears prepare for the Broncos Sunday. Now it's hit the basketball community, through the mouth of Charles Barkley.

Barkley spoke on "The Waddle & Silvy Show" Friday, making a plea to the Bears.

"I want to make a personal plea to Lance Briggs, Brian Urlacher, Mr. Julius Peppers, please stop the madness," he said on the show.

Barkley went on to explain that he wishes Tebow success but he is simply "Tebowed out." Aren't we all?

Barkley continued to explain that this whole thing is just a "media-driven" story and we should be focusing on Sunday's game.

"Dude, let the kid play," he said. "If he can play, good. If he can't play it will show. But to have this argument every single day after five or six games is just ridiculous."

What about you? Are you tired of hearing about Tebow? Do you agree with Barkley?
