The Bears announced Thursday that they have re-signed cornerback Sherrick McManis to a two-year deal.

Over the years, McManis has played a large role on the Bears' special teams unit, where 17 of his 29 tackles last year came from. His best game in 2015 came during Week 6 matchup against the division fival Detroit Lions when he registered eight tackles (one assisted), which ranked second on the team.
