With Halloween right around the corner there's probably nothing that would be more spine-chilling for Bears fans than seeing Mike Ditka in a Green Bay Packers jersey.
That nightmare just become a reality.
Pro Football Hall of Famer Jerry Rice tweeted out a video that will prompt Bears fans to do a double take, maybe even a discount double take. A video from Rice's twitter account surfaced of the Bears legend in a Packers jersey with the name Ditka plastered on the back above the No. 45. A stark contrast to Ditka's iconic No. 89 jersey he wore throughout his Hall of Fame playing career.

Now we know Ditka would never root for the Packers so there has to be a logical explanation for the jersey, right?

CSN's David Kaplan confirmed that the video of Ditka in a Packers jersey is for an upcoming McDonald's commercial.
"I take the fifth," Ditka said on Kap and Company on WMVP-1000 radio with Kaplan.
"I have no problems at all with it. You'll like it. It's fun. it's kind of cute. Jerry's cute in it. See, I don't tweet stuff and text stuff and do all that. But he's also in a Cowboy jersey and hat too.
"We live with it."
However, if Ditka wants to keep the jersey for Halloween he would probably win a contest at a number of Chicago bar for worst costume ever.
