ESPN gives Bears best odds to earn NFL's No. 1 draft pick

When the NFL Draft comes back to Chicago next spring, will the Bears have the No. 1 overall pick?

According to ESPN's Football Power Index, the Bears have the best odds to finish with the worst record in the league, sitting above the Oakland Raiders, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars:

 

 

That would be insane. Chicago would be out of control.

At this point, it wouldn't come as a complete shock with the Bears sitting at 0-2 through the first couple games and now may be without Jay Cutler for a while.

Plus, their remaining schedule is pretty difficult, littered with matchups against playoff hopefuls like the Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos, not to mention five more against tough divisional opponents.

But the Bears will also welcome the Raiders and Washington Redskins to Soldier Field and draw the Bucs on the road.

Can you imagine the Bears going up against Lovie Smith and the Bucs in a battle for the No. 1 pick Week 16?
