A look back at the last time the Bears were shut out

The Bears went 194 games without being shutout. Until Sunday.

Sunday's blowout 26-0 loss to the Seahawks in Seattle snapped what was the league's longest active streak of games with at least a point.

The last time the Bears were scoreless prior to Sunday? Dec. 29, 2002, in a 15-0 loss to the Buccaneers at Memorial Stadium in Champaign.

Check out some of the important facts from that game:

Yes, the Bears started Henry Burris at quarterback against the Buccaneers, and things didn't go so well for him.

At least the Bears' defense played well, keeping the Buccaneers out of the end zone. Problem was Martin Gramatica kicked five field goals for the 15 Tampa Bay points.

A decent defensive effort, poor quarterback play and the Bears burned on special teams? Sounds familiar.

A look back at the last shutout loss was just a part of Sunday night's "Inside the Huddle" featuring former Bears coach Dave Wannstedt. Check out more of Wannstedt's thoughts on Sunday's loss in the videos below.
