"New Girl" is no stranger to referencing Chicago sports.
The FOX comedy features two central characters - Jake Johnson's "Nick" and Lamorne Morris' "Winston" - who are Chicago transplants living in Los Angeles.
That's made for plenty of references to the Bears, Bulls, Cubs and others.
But nothing can quite compare to Tuesday night's episode, which was geared completely around a Bears helmet.
Nick finds out Jessica (the titular character played by Zooey Deschanel) threw away his prized Bears helmet and hijinks ensue:
"You had a sex dream about a Bears helmet?" Nick asks. "Who was wearing it? Ditka? Vic Fangio? John Fox? Our GM Ryan Pace? He's cute, but c'mon!"
