NFL Draft Profile: Ole Miss WR Laquon Treadwell

NFL Draft Profile: Ole Miss WR Laquon Treadwell

As part of our coverage leading up to the 2016 NFL Draft we will provide profiles of more than 150 prospects, including a scouting report and video interviews with each player.

Laquon Treadwell (WR), Mississippi

6’2” | 221 lbs.

2015 stats:

82 receptions, 1153 yards, 11 TDs

Projection:

1st Round

Scouting Report:

"Obviously I would not argue with anyone who ranks Treadwell as the top receiver. I love both prospects. Treadwell displayed his physical dominance in college both before and after the catch. Treadwell fits the template for a focal point of an offense at 6’2/221 lbs. His game did not slow down in 2015 after returning from a horrific leg injury. Treadwell can win at every level of the field with position and agility for someone of his size. He is used to catching erratic targets away from his body." - Josh Norris, Rotoworld.com

Watch Matt Forte attack Lance Briggs with a cardboard box, because why not

It's gameday.

The Patriots are in town.

Khalil Mack is probably playing with a significant injury.

Bears vs. Patriots Live Blog: Score, highlights, analysis from NFL Week 4 game

WE"LL DO IT LIVE.

Welcome back, gang. It feels like only a week ago we were all in Miami, watching one of the drunkest Bears games we've seen in a while. No rest for the weary, though, and the Bears are back in Chicago and oh god they're playing Tom Brady and the Patriots. Khalil Mack WILL play, though, and Rob Gronkowski will NOT. One step at a time.

As always, J.J. Stankevitz will be your eyes and ears from Soldier; give him a follow. Lorin Cox's tweets are also worth your time.

1ST QUARTER

1240 - TOUCHDOWN BEARS. After the Bears recover a fumble on the kickoff, Trubisky runs in the silliest QB "sneak" you'll see in a while. BEARS 10, PATRIOTS 7.

1235 - CODY PARKEY FROM 46 YARDS STRAIGHT CASH. PATRIOTS 7, BEARS 3.

1230 - Trubisky is like, the entire offense right now. Up to 37 yards rushing. Whatever works!

1217 - look at this absolute unit:

1210 - Touchdown Pats. New England sort of did whatever they wanted to on that drive. It begins. PATRIOTS 7, BEARS 0.

1205 - Bears kickoff to the Pats and we're underway here. So far NE's pass-catching backs are as good as advertised.
