The Bears provided a unique opportunity for local fans on Saturday night as the team held a training camp practice at Warren Township High School in suburban Gurnee.
As part of the "Varsity Bears" initiative, the Bears are trying to bring a self-described "Friday Night Lights" feel to their practice by playing on Warren's varsity field and giving fans a free opporunity to see them play. The event includes family activities, games, the team's practice and fireworks at the conclusion of the event.
