Report: Adam Gase to interview with Eagles, Browns, Dolphins

The Bears may be looking for a new offensive coordinator this offseason, but for good reason.

Adam Gase reportedly will interview with three teams this week for head coaching vacancies, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.

Gase was a finalist for the 49ers opening last season before the team hired Jim Tomsula, who was fired Sunday.

Gase instead followed John Fox from Denver to Chicago. The Bears dealt with injuries at the wide receiver position - rookie Kevin White, Alshon Jeffery and Martellus Bennett missed 28 games and all ended the year on IR - and finished 21st in offense and 23rd in points per game. Jay Cutler threw 11 interceptions, the fewest of his career since 2011.

The Eagles fired Chip Kelly prior to Week 17 after three seasons. The Browns axed Mike Pettine after one season, while the Dolphins fired Joe Philbin in October and used interim Dan Campbell the rest of the season.

Mike Shannahan reportedly will interview with the Dolphins a second time after doing so in December. The 49ers are looking at Saints coach Sean Payton and Kelly, while the Eagles will interview interim head coach Pat Shurmur, per Adam Schefter.

The Saints, Colts and Giants are expected to make decisions on their head coaches this week, so Gase may have more suitors as the offseason heats up.
