Report: Bears ink wide receiver Kendall Wright to one-year deal

The Bears agreed to a one-year, $4 million deal with wide receiver Kendall Wright, according to ESPN's Adam Caplan.

Wright, 27, provides Mike Glennon and company with more depth out wide, which is needed given top-target Alshon Jeffery's departure. Wright is a five-year NFL veteran, who has spent his entire career with the Tennessee Titans to varying degrees of success.

After a strong 2013 season (94 catches), Wright's receptions have steadily decreased. Last year, the Baylor product caught only 29 of Marcus Mariota's passes in 11 games. He finished with three touchdowns and 416 yards.

General manager Ryan Pace has now inked Wright and Markus Wheaton in an effort to replace Jeffery's production.
