The Bears are reportedly close to adding a tight end.

Mike Garafolo of NFL Network is reporting that the Bears are nearing an agreement with 26-year-old Dion Sims.

Sims, a fourth-round draft pick in 2013, has spent his entire four-year career with the Miami Dolphins. He has a total of eight career touchdown catches, four of which came last season.

In 2016, Sims added 26 receptions, a career-high, and 256 reception yards. He also had five catches and 34 yards in Miami's 30-12 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Wild Card game.
