Alumni Game Preview: Chris Chelios returns in Blackhawks uniform

Comcast SportsNet will air the Stadium Series Alumni Game at TCF Bank Stadium on Feb. 20 between the Blackhawks and Minnesota Wild/North Stars. To get you ready for the game, read more about these former Blackhawks below.

Chris Chelios is one of the best defensemen in Blackhawks history. He potted 92 goals and 395 assists with a plus-120 rating across nine seasons in Chicago from 1990-1999. His 487 points ranks No. 3 among defensemen in franchise history.

Chelios led the Blackhawks to playoff berths in each of his first seven seasons in Chicago. The defensive star shined in the 1992 Stanley Cup Playoffs, tallying 21 points with six goals and 15 assists over 18 games.

The Chicago native and former Wisconsin Badger won two of his three career Norris trophies as a member of the Blackhawks. Chelios was selected to 11 NHL All-Star games and won three Stanley Cups during his 26-year career.

He was named the 28th captain in Blackhawks history in 1995.
